The name of this font is DAVIDA BOLD.

Now YOU know too.
You'd think someone would have already answered this question on the web! But they haven't til now.

If you ever need to identify a font again, this website is very helpful.
So how did YOU find out? Was it listed on the inside of the dust jacket?
No, tis not ... I have no life mixed with insomnia. ;p
I first googled "font on bell jar cover," only one hit and the answer was wrong (Arnold Bocklin?!). But, that hit also led me to explore the Adobe fonts catalog. I scrolled through EVERY SINGLE FONT and didn't find it. But, some fonts in the "swashes" category looked close. Searched for more swashes on google, no luck; finally reduced to looking through 50s fonts and 60s fonts, and FINALLY found it under the list of 60s fonts on THIS site.
p.s. I have noticed that this font is also common on Mexican restaurant signage.
Ah, thanks Rusty!
